Series II 88 Brake upgrade to dual circuit master

    Hello:

I am upgrading the brake system on my Series II to a dual circuit master cyclinder with brake booster. Since my old brake system was the single circuit system I a trying to figure out the best way to run the new brake pipes. I am looking for pictures or diagram that shows how the pipes should be routed on a dual ciruit system. The green bible does not has a diagram of the dual circuit brake system. Thanks in advance (your help could save me alot of time & maybe a few damaged pipes).

The SIII green bible should have dual circuit diagrams.

Concerning series III green bible... I do not have access to one. Currently I only have a series II manual & was hoping to avoid buying a series III manual. So if anyone else out there can help I would appreciate it.

Not sure if you already have the new lines or not but check out this place. http://www.fedhillusa.com/ They're about 5 minutes from me. Good people and lots of info on their site. If you go with the copper nickle stuff you probably won't have to touch them again as long as you own the truck. They can be pricey on the tubing. That can be found at NAPA for less money. Fedhill has all sorts of fittings and their flare tool works mint! The copper alloy stuff is VERY easy to work with.

Fedhill is great! My 88 is done with this technology and works awsome, the Kuniforn piping does get a bit knackered after a while, looks rough, but is extremely easy to form and flare. If you but the ratched operated flaring tool, you will make perfect consistant flares with ease.
