    Battery Question

I believe my battery died but I'm having difficulty actually confirming that is the problem

When I tried jumping it from both a remote rechargeable battery and jumper cables off my MINI I get power flowing through and the starter turning, but not enough power to get it running. Doing it for a little period of time it starts to slow, like I am draining the battery

The truck has sat a few times during the winter, and once with the lights on. Several times I've come back to dead battery, but it always revived with the remote battery.

I forgot to check. I know it's not new, but I don;t think it is too old either (I've only had the truck since Sept)

I'm really at a loss. I would think a jump would solve the problem if it's a bad battery. And I don't want to replace the battery if its not that.

    Any ideas?

    Thx

hook it up to your MINI and let it sit for a while..
let the battery get a bit of a charge before you have a go at it..

sounds like it is just really drained down..

I would bring it to a auto parts store and have it load checked..
just b.c the truck may start and run doesnt mean the battery will hold a charge.
