Looking for the battery size, amp etc... for a 2.5 diesel NA.

group 27 just fits the batt tray with only 1/4 inch of play. It's the biggest you can get. Autozone: 84$

I use a group 27 Exide marine deep cycle / starting combo battery. Highly recommended even though it is a bit more expensive ($150) but has started my 2.5 on even the coldest Maine winter days for several years now. Look for something with at least 800 cold cranking amps.
