Well driving the other day in my Series III 109 my indicators just stopped working. They where working fine now all of them don't work in any position. Any ideas on where to start?

Just to clarify things, is this an ex-MoD 109 or a normal one?

I would start with your grounds.

If you still have the 6 way switch for lights still make sure it is in the 12 o'clock position (off). Some of the other positions can disable the running/directionals.

Electrically speaking if it is all your indicators at once then the problem is not lurking around any of the bulbs. I would start with your fuses and then check the flasher unit / directional stalk connections for power. You can use a small jumper wire on the flasher unit to give power to a given side of the vehicle which will tell you that wiring to your bulbs are adequate.

Are you still using the military turn signal relay? My turn signals were only working some of the time, then stopped working. I found a soldered connection within the relay that had come loose. Re-soldered and all is well. The military realys come apart quite easily.

ExMod wiring is not for the timid. Rewired by Rovers North doesn't give me warm fuzzies either.
