what would the recommended paint be for doing the radiator tanks, support. Most spray cans are for up to 200 degF a little low. Of course there is the high temp stuff but did not see any high temp primers at store?

I've just used regular, not high heat spray paint on the rad, t stat housing and other bits. For black paint I generally use the Krylon brand of semi-flat as it is easy to find and dries quickly.

I have painted the radiators (and radiator supports) on most of my restoration projects with regular spray paint (Tru-Test enamel paint from True Value, ) with no issues at all. IIRC, I used Eastwood Rust Encapsulator on my Lightweight because I had some left over. I have tried the Eastwood Radiator Paint and I did not like it at all. It did not cover well and flaked off very easily.

Regular enamel will be fine.

I just picked up some Krylon radiator paint. I plan on painting mine on Saturday, hope it turns out okay.
