I hope I didn't offend any of our Southern friends either, It's just that I see that 'wench' thing alot down south. Come to think of it, I guess I've seen Warn refered to as Warren before too. I wonder if that prom dress was for the Senior prom. Guess spelling wasn't her strong suit either.Comment

Nah definitely not. The local paper "The Daily Star" used to ALWAYS list a winch as a wench. I don't know if it was an inside joke or ignorance but every ad I remember reading in there for 15-20 years listed "XXX Truck with wench"...
It is almost as bad as "Cummings diesel"...Comment
