I am trying to figure out which engine I have. It appears to be a 5 bearing but I can only find reference to 364xxxx prefix.

Stomper,

That is what I am reading it as.

From the glencoyne site.

364xxxxxx Series III petrol 2286cc 7:1 CR 5-bearing
366xxxxxx Series III diesel 2286cc 5-bearing

That is why I am asking.

365's are 5MB 8:1 military motors

Also, the 5 Main Bearing Engine has a red painted engine block with a black cyl head.

The head on my truck is painted the military seafoam green. So it must have been swapped at some point.

My 5MB engine starts with 361. It has the 8.1 head also.
