One-family-owned since 1987. Originally purchased in Germany, bought from importer in Texas. No paintwork or body work ever done on vehicle since our ownership. Burnt orange exterior with tan cloth interior, front seats have sheepskin covers. All seats in good condition. Manual windows and seats, all glass tinted.
Power plant is Buick 215 V8 with original SU carbs. Automatic transmission is 327 Chrysler, recent tune-up and carb rebuild, engine runs and starts great. Original alum wheels in good shape.
Except for some minor roof damage due to tree limb hitting and small dent in tailgate, body has no damage. Please note rust out in the floor and rockers need to be addressed soon. Also rusty in rear tail gate and window molding. The tail gate window is very fragile and latching-locking mechanism is in need of replacement . The back end of the Rover is where the noticeable rust is.
Rover has always been maintained, all fluids changed regularly, newer brake calipers, shocks and tires. Has never sat for long periods of time. The Rover goes down the road very well, steering and suspension very firm.
Included in the sale are many new and used parts.

This all-wheel drive Rover would be the perfect vehicle to have on an estate that could be left for periods of time. Because of the lack of computers and electrical accessories, the battery can be left disconnected unlike most of the modern all-wheel drives. Having the low range you could drive it anywhere, through streams, rocks or whatever. Located near Chicago.
