Quick Stupid question: I have no anti-burst latches that do not have door locks in them. I have new door lock tumblers. Do I just push the new tumblers into the door latch and done?

Or is there something else I need to look out for? Thanks!!

The key has to be in the tumbler.

Is there any thing you should treat them with. I put new ones in and few months later they were froze up and corroded.

I coat them with grease, but I'm in a temperate climate (very seldom gets to freezing:D) so you might want to use a low temp gun grease (or something similar) if you live in a climate where that white stuff (whatever that's called) happens every year.

I spray the locks (and latching mechanism) with lithium grease; works great :thumb-up:

I was on Whidbey Island when I first installed mine. Didn't take very long for them to freeze up. I'd love to get back to the PNW and away from the severe climate shift of MD.
