I think I have figured out what is wrong with my booster...at the back of the booster where the rod extends out, there are two springs, the The smaller of the springs hold pressure against the rod, which in turn keeps the rod pushing outward which closes the seal in the rear of the booster allowing vacuum on both sides,
Well the E clip that holds that spring to the rod has come off. I have looked at it and cannot figure how one could put the clip on while dressing the spring and hold the rod out.
Anyone ever done this repair???
