Need help on the clutch slave cylinder flex hose!!!

Went to change out my flex hose on my series got one from rovers north and the threaded ends are longer than what i had.... I can tighten up but there will be exposed threads on both ends about 1/4 of an inch... will this leak if it is not tightened down with the brass washers??? truck is apart!!!

Nope, won't leak, the clutch has very low pressure, so you shouldn't have any leaks.
