i have a 1991 range rover classic fs
the green truck has 163xxx miles and is in great shape for its age, originally owned by the sister of the owner of rovers north till around 2003
-ac blows cold and all of the fan speed settings work (the resistor was replaced with the updated style)
upgrades done to car:
-old man emu HD shocks and springs which adds 2in lift. about 6000 miles old
-old man emu steering stablizer which is also 6000 miles old.
-32 in BF goodrich mud terrian tires with 6000 miles on them and a brand new spare
-1/4 carbon steel RTE diff gaurds. both front and rear welded on
-hella vision plus headlights with new blubs in them (one burned out so i replaced both)
-stainless steel brake lines that are 2in longer for lift
-and of course stickers (priceless)
recent service all done in feb 2011
-all new rebuilt calipers on all 4 corners (the chrome pistons were badly pitted)
-new pads all around (lockeheed)
-new front brake disc
-hubs have been service, with bearning being inspected and re-packed(look new)
-all new hub seals and gaskets
-regreased swivel housing with land rover one shot grease stuff
-new oil 10w-40 synethic blend with huge k&N filter
-new air filter
-new pressure control valve system (tiny filter, all three hoses and plastic t piece)
-new belts
-new RED TOP battery
-new battery post connectors
-new lucus ignition coil (silver one with green label)
-new champion plugs
-replaced dizy cap and rotor
-new spark wires
-new fuel filter
-new crank case flame trap
-ABS brake system deleted, swapped to manual system
-brake fluid flush and replaced completely with dot 4 fuild
-replaced window wiper motor
-new oil cap and seal
car also comes with:
-real 1952 Jerry nato can
-48in hi lift jack
-original factory reapir manual and cd with ALL land rover manuals (car is very easy to work on)
-and hub socket
what the truck needs:
-center and rear mufflers. (the mufflers are rusted).
-has a exhaust leak either at cat or manifold on passenger side
-the driver side back door latch need adjusting (it opens but its a pain)
-heater needs work, i think it the 4 setting switch in the truck thats the problem? as the snowflake works but any setting other seems to turn off the climate control system
-radio needs new head unit- something blew up inside the cd player as when i took out the headunit, and missing both speaker at verry bottem of door
-sagging headliner
rear windows something work? tried tracking down problem, failed
hood need to get repainted but i have the ppg paint (compressor blew up) and i also have a vigg design hood blackout vinyl to apply as well as new back "range rover" letters
asking 4450 firm with everything. the beast is driven everyday 60 miles to work currently
