Hey guys, just got a 1969 series2a. I want to treat it to a complete fluid change. What oil are you using in the engine? I used to use Rotella in my cruiser, but they changed the formulation. I ran 5-30 in the winter and 10 40 in the summer. Same question for the gearboxes and differentials, and steering box. Anyone using synthetics? Just curious.

Thanks! Since I see you live in New York also, I live on Long Island ( east end in Greenport), are there any groups here? I can't seem to find any.

Check the map first...
I'm a good 7-9 hrs away from you...

Rochester isn't a part of Westchester...

There are a bunch of people here from the island and CT. They will be your best bet...

Hi Billy,

Congrats on your '69 SIIA ! I live in East Quogue and work in Westhampton Beach. We can get together sometime swap Series stories (like when its not 90-something degrees out).

To enjoy Series Rover companionship hop a ferry from Orient; lot of enthusiasts over there. Enjoy the new wheels :thumb-up:
