Any suggestions how to clean the inside of a used Jerry Can before I put gas in it? It is empty now.

Thank you.

usual trick for gas tanks is to use gravel and shake it around, rinse and repeat.

Depends on what you're trying to clean. Is it rusty inside or just gummed up from old gas? It makes a difference. Good Gerry cans have a lining. If you're trying to get old fuel gum out then using abrasives (chain, rock, media) will damage the lining. If it's rusty then use a piece of chain and shake it vigorously until all the scale is gone. The inside of the can will then need to be relined.
