Hi I am waiting for my clutch line to come in the mail and thought I may as well start on my next project...the brakes. I have the hard lines but am missing the pedal assembly, master cylinder, and I am not sure what else I will need. How do I tell if it is a servo or non servo system? Also how do I find out what master cylinder I will need, or if one from an auto parts store will be compatible?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Tasi, I am sorry I am not much help to your question. I too will be looking under the hood of my 73 ex-MOD Series III and comparing it with the pics in the manuals to see what type of brake system I have.

On a separate note/question... Are you from Samoa? the name would indicate that you are. just curious.

Thanks,
rob

A 1974 will have had servo-asisted brakes.

It might help to 'Translate", a servo in British means a power brake booster here in the U.S. And 109's with front and back drum brakes use the dual master cylinder available from our hosts.
