Just clarifying--is this a clutch linkage you need? Oops, I mean a throttle linkage?

I posted this a few weeks ago on the G&R Board:

I found these on McMaster-Carr to use as replacements for badly worn Series throttle linkage clips. Part #2695K88 is a "Quick Disconnect Ball Joint Linkage" that has 10-32 threads on both ends and is a close match for the Series ends. I haven't tried to pop the clip off of the ball, but that is what they mean as "Quick Disconnect". In the one clip in the photo is a length of 3/16" steel rod stock threaded with a 10-32 die and a lock nut to allow for adjustment in length. At $2.20 each I think they are a bargain compared to factory bits. I used a similar part to replace the sheet metal clips on the SIII 88 when I swapped in the V8. I used the same 3/16 rod cut to length, bent and threaded as needed.

They are also available in 1/4-28 thread, part #6058K32 for those that want a really beefy linkage, or are working on a Triumph TR which uses that size.

Don't pop the clips off because they can get bent and then not stay in place, I just slide the clips back onto the barrel so that the ball can come out of it's socket, that way you don't weaken the clip (or lose it by dropping it on the floor)

I just went thru my stash and what i need are the stop clamps that fit on the end of the shafts well as one of the short clamp on arms. Thanks.
