For all the Cummins fans, here's something you don't see everyday...

    61 II 109" Pickup (Restomod, 350 small block, TR4050)
66 IIA 88" Station Wagon (sold)
    66 IIA 109" Pickup (Restomod, 5MGE, R380)
67 IIA 109" NADA Wagon (sold)
    88, 2.5TD 110 RHD non-hicap pickup

-I used to know everything there was to know about Land Rovers; then I joined the RN Bulletin Board.

Nice, I love it! I've got a cummins in my 109. But now I'm fast becoming infatuated with the old Detroits. 2 stroke diesels with a supercharger and a turbocharger in series.

Detroits are noisy as heck though.

Yeah they are. I wouldn't want to drive all day with one, especially in an old series truck.

Will a 16-278A fit in an 88? Oh, wait, it's longer than an 88, so maybe a 109?

In the mid-90's some people fitted mil-surplus Detroit 3-53's into the Dodge M-37's. The 3-53 was being surplused out with the service end of the Gama Goat.

A friend up in Greenville has a civi PW300 with a 4-53 in it. Looks neat with a 4" stack.
