Anyone have any recomendations on a dog guard for my 88? The dog keeps jumping into the front seat which is fine as long as it is only me up there. Gets a little crowded when a passagner is riding with me.

My wife made it clear to the dogs who rides in the back. However, you might look at modifying an indoor pet gate or somthing for a newer vehicle.

Track down a local place selling hardware cloth and make your own. If you look online you can see different types and sizes available.

I've typically seen them on Jeep Wranglers, but there's a brand called Raingler that makes netting for the backs of vehicles, or the open sides of an open-top vehicle. http://www.allthingsjeep.com/raingler-nets.html I'm sure you could fit one to the back of a Series with ease.

This is how I have done. A metal lattice, cut to size. At first it was a temporary solution, but it still works fine. keeps the vicious dog behind bars while driving :D

He needs more spikes on his collar to go with the obviously bad attitude.

Or use my method. My dog is old and fat and couldn't jump over the seat if she wanted to. :D

Or you can get a Defender dog barrier and adapt it to your Series truck. Most of the work will be already done for you.
An advantage to having a good dog barrier is that it also can protect you from flying gear packed in the back during an accident.

Look for a old miltary radio rack for a land rover , they work nice.
