If I were to remove the AC condenser and all that garbage from in front of the radiator how much of a difference would that make in cooling. I don't need the AC/ don't feel like paying to have it fixed, and I just did headgaskets and rebuild the top end because the previous owner let the truck over heat. your thoughts....?

It sure won't hurt!

Also, the weight savings could be significant, unless you keep the compressor to use for on-board air...:thumb-up:

can the compressor be used to fill tires and such? If so thats pretty cool an I guess I would just have to hook up an air line and a filter.

Slightly more involved than that, but basically that's it.

You need a tank, a pressure switch and an on-off switch as well as the plumbing and filter. A safety blow-off valve is mandatory in case the pressure switch fails. I don't know how many "custom" systems I've sen without this simple safety device. Have you ever seen the destructive power of a 5 gallon tank of high-pressure gas? It's pretty cool, unless you're on the receiving end...
