Hi All,

I tried searching for this answer, so please forgive me if it's already been posted and I just missed it.

I'm trying to get my new-to-me 1974 88" running for the first time in almost 10 years, and I'm currently in the process of cleaning the fuel system. When I pulled the fuel filter last night I found that all the seals were shot, but the new fuel filter came with only the large o-ring for the housing. Can I just use regular o-rings for the two seals on the bolt, or is there a special rubber washer I need to use or a place to purchase the original parts? I searched RN's site but didn't find anything.

Thanks!

~Neil

You are referring to an actual filter and not the glass sediment bowl that is part of the fuel pump assembly right??

The sediment bowl uses a fiber washer that should be replaced every time you remove the bowl. The replacement comes as a new seal and a new sediment screen.
