Hello, I have a RHD 1981 Series III. I found some alloy RANGE ROVER 16" x 7" rims for sale with the appropriate lug pattern, 5x6.5 (5x165), but I have heard that some of the new alloy rims don't fit over the series hubs and drive flanges. I've attached a picture of the rim below. Can anyone tell me if these would fit my series iii before I buy them? Unfortunately trying them on the truck first is not an option.

nope they wont fit without modification. i have been on the hunt now for a while for the same setup.....

i have a 1973 series III wagon and I am purchasing a similar wheel for it.
I have a machine shop to machine out the centers properly. i will make a thread on this when i am finished.

the wheel will be much weaker with that much material removed. The spacers are a much better idea and the help the turning radius with the wider wheels
