I was wondering if anyone kind of local'ish to me here in the Massachusetts/Connecticut area has done a conversion to parabolics, and still has their old leaf springs hanging around. I inherited a trailer my father made many years ago, and he used 38" front leafs out of an old 109 he scrapped, for the trailer, well the springs are shot after nearly 40 years of road salt, and I need to replace them. I use this trailer for picking up my heating wood for the winter and need to get it back on the road. I would be willing to pay a nominal fee for the springs, but if you have an old pair that you're just getting rid of, that would be better. :thumb-up:
Thanks Harvey

I have a set of OK front springs that I was planning to scrap.
Do not think the bushings are the best. I'm in northern NY and wouldn't want anything for them, free if you can find a way to get them to you.

I'll have to think on that one, Plattsburgh is a bit far off, I was thinking of picking up what-ever was offered. If anyone is passing through and coming this way and could relay them, I'd be happy to meet somewhere to get them.

yea, that's a problem I have alot, I live in a off the beaten path location. I may be able to find someone heading through Albany if your not in a hurry and that's close enough.

If I get around to replacing the springs on my 88" I will have a set you can have. I have had a set in the garage for a couple months now.

That's been the way this whole quest has been going right since the beginning. :sly:
