Hi,
I am selling my Land Rover Defender Tdi 110...
this truck was built in 1999 on a brand new chassis using new body panels.. proffesionaly tuned and rebuilt fuel injection..

equipt with the 200Tdi and Lt77
HD Salsbury axle

every bolt was new in 99 and this truck has been well loved and cared for..

*Coniston Green*

there has been a lot of work and upgrades performed including..

*genuine LR heated windshield
*new windscreen/bulkhead frame seals
*new head gasket and head cleaning
*all new hoses & thermostat

*new timing belt and tensioner

*new hard brake lines, calipers, rotors
*Good Year Wrangler LT285/75R16 (Dura Wall) MT/R
*AC that will blow cold in summer and heat in the winter

*Defendoor fuel inlet cover (works great and is easy to use full season)
*new drivers side glass
*duel fender vents (drivers side 200tdi and passenger side 300tdi)
*cd and xm player
*the paint looks great only minor electrolosis on passenger lower and rear door lower..

***This truck has no rust or rot issues***

How is it legal as 1998 model, otherwise it's a great sounding/looking truck for the new price.

Driving a "grey market" car seems like a huge risk. is it not?

Ehh to each their own. If you have the money, go for it. I for one, can not afford a $40k car, only to have it confiscated if anything went wrong.I believe this car would be legal in Canada, though I'm not positive.

People use this term incorrectly all to often. Grey market by definition has nothing to do with legality of the vehicle. It simply means a vehicle intended for and sold originally in a foreign market such as the U.K. (home market) then imported to another market such as USA. Grey market has nothing to do with a questionable or "shady" origin.
