Changing Series III 109" shocks

Hi all,
I'm going to replace my shocks this weekend. I assume its a pretty standard job? Anything I should worry about, check on during or also tackle at same time?

Sounds dumb, but be sure the longer shocks go in the rear. They come compressed and the two lengths look very similar. I'd check for loose or damaged u-bolts and worn brake lines.
