    NC Rover help

Looking for someone in the Charlotte area who does aluminum work and someone who works on rover engines! Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few people I know in the Raleigh area who work on rovers. I will ask around for your neck of the woods.

Thank you NCRover and scarter! I will check them out. My problem is my rover smokes like a fiend once it gets warmed up! I checked the compression and it is 140, 140, 150 and 145. So I don't think it is a ring issue. I plan on bypassing the mechanical fuel pump as the fuel is running down the side of the engine below the pump. Rebuild the carb and I guess I should order new valve cover gaskets and head gaskets and I plan on dropping the oil pan and cleaning out 32 years of sludge (it sat for 32 years in AZ before I got it) so a new oil pan gasket also. Any insight as to the cause would be appreciated! Also any tips about rovers in general would also be appreciated!

        Cheers
