is there a Nuts and bolts diagram or reference?

Hello all, I have taken so many parts off my 109, and it was a semi basket case when I purchased it last year. My question is, is there a diagram to show the correct size, thread and placement of nuts and bolts on the rover. I have the green bible and a few more books, non of which show bolt and nut specifics.
Thanks to all in advance. Tasi

    You need...

    Land-Rover Parts Catalogue

I am looking at the Series II and IIA Bonneted Control version. 623 pages of action packed, fun filled, G rated, mind numbing, nerd reference material suitable for the young and young at heart.

Every part number is called out, fixings are referenced (answering your question) and in many cases the fastener length/diameter/thread pitch is noted.

Whew! Now back to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

What years does your manual cover? I noticed there is also a Series IIA (later) also. I have a '69 IIA and want to make sure I order the right one and the ads I've seen only show the covers with no dates mentioned.

        Freddie, we have twin trucks.

The manual is part 605957 and does not call out years on the cover or in detail. It has a pub date of Dec '68. Some parts are called out for 58-59 model years, 99.5% have no year designations. The manual clearly distinguishes between SerI, II and IIA as well as petrol/diesel/4cyl/6cyl.

The drawings are simply stupendous. Hours of entertainment are guaranteed.

Thank you very much. Mine is a 74 ex-mod series iii 109 ffr. I guess I should have led with that...I am sure there must be a parts manual for that as well? I will do some searching but if someone knows and could save me some time, it would be appreciated.

          Thank you again.

Download that pdf, I used it with my gearbox rebuild. Just printed the pages I needed, and then tossed them as they where thoroughly dirty when I finished up the rebuild.

The manual I mentioned was for a Series III. I haven't found a downloadable IIA manual yet.
