Shock Swaps?

I have a pair of NOS Unipart GSA196 shocks that apparently fit the front of a 109. I am soon swapping out the front springs on my 88 and am wondering if I can use the shocks I have. If not, any 109 owners out there with a new set of 88 shocks they want to exchange?

Those shocks should fit your 88. I believe regular 109 front shocks are considered heavy duty 88 front shocks.
