I went last night to see a one day premier of the 50th anniversary release of Lawrence of Arabia. The movie was released in 1962 and filmed most of 1961. Before the movie began, there was lots of footage of filming in the Jordanian desert. It was really nice to see lots of Land Rovers Series II 88" scattered around the film camp sites.
