Hello all. I followed information found on several forums and jumped the blue diagnostic plug to reveal the above code. The code - Faulty stoplight switch or wiring.
My ABS and traction control (2 circles with an exclamation mark in the middle?) lights have been staying on. Brakes work terrific however.
I cleared the code and drove it. A re-check revealed the same code. All fuses (2 five amps, a 25 amp, and the large 30) are okay. Replaced the two black relays - no help.
I have also noticed when I tap my brakes it "slightly" dims the headlights/ dashlights, and the 2 above stated warning lights. Hardly noticeable but at night I can tell while driving it.
My question: Any thoughts as to where to look to solve the ABS issue? The abs pump comes on and seems to work fine. Does not run but maybe 30-40 seconds on initial startup. Brake pedal feels perfect.
I installed new calipers in the front and bled the brakes properly. I have also tamped-in the ABS sensors making sure they are seated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
