Ok now this is a bit silly but then sometimes the bore of the internet gets to me..... so tonight I set out to find my rover....

here the instructions....

Step by step guide to sillyness.....

http://maps.google.com/

wait for page to load

then type in address 280 Bleecker St. 10014 (or copy and paste it) hit enter

move the zoom + / - bar to the left all they way to the top +

now click on Street View "new" (top right)

then double click on the little orange dude on the screen

then click Full Screen (top right)

then click the left error (top left of screen) three (3) times

what do you see besides the entrance of 280 Bleecker St ?....

Very silly indeed

Should I post on how to find it on local.live ?..... anyone else find theirs besides in their driveway ?

Way too cool!

All it shows for my place is foundation going in. That was about a year ago...

The instructions for the one below are a little different....

http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=40.68866~-74.434487&style=r&lvl=17&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=3043869&encType=1 (http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=40.68866%7E-74.434487&style=r&lvl=17&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&scene=3043869&encType=1)

First you click on the link.....

then you click on the building view as intially it is the topo map

click plus and zoom in all the way

Now you should be able to spot a parked rover in the middle of the map in a parking lot in a row with a total of 5 cars and a rover.....(the lot north of the white van driving down the street)

Now important only in the North view you see the rover if you move it to East you will see only the oil slick left by an old an tired leaking 2.25

Did anyone say anything about having too much time ?
