    Can a 2003 D2 seats be removed???

I am a new member and new to Land Rover...

I just bought a 2003 Discovery 'S'... It doesn't have the 7 passenger seating (which I didn't want or need)... which was actually a lot harder to find...

Anyways, I noticed that when you fold the second row down, it doesn't appear that it folds flush wth the rear cargo area carpet area on the D2 as it does with the D1. I was a little dissapointed about that...

Is there anyway to easily remove the 2nd row of seating to make for more storage capacity on a needed basis???

I saw this genuine cargo liner ad for the D2, and it shows a section of the 2nd row removed... I'm wondering if this can be done, and how easy/hard it is???

    See pic...

Thanks... Looking forward to learning more here and getting more familiar with the Rover.

Welcome to the RN forum! Good question, I'm working on the answer...

ps... Good to see that you still run around a proper AAN 20v turbo .

I remove my back seats fairly often. It is easy, just need some torques (sp?)sockets and remove the bolts. The seats are a little heavy but they come out easy. For more details email me. cnaveaux@earthlink.net
