Galvinized trim- hot dipped or electro plate?

I am embarquing on the restoration of my 1961 Series II and am getting conflicting
opinions regarding the galv process for the trim and bumpers. The metal pail finish
is brighter and smoother than the hot dipped finish I am used to seeing on what I
would describe as an industrial hot dipped galvanize. I believe there is something
called an architectural finish but am not sure if this is correct or not.
I would appreciate any guidance I can get.

The preference is hot dip galvanize, though you need to converse with the folks doing this for you, ask to see some samples of their completed work, talk to some folks that have used the facility. There seems to be a wide selection of the end product and where in the cycle of cleaning the dip bins your project is processed.
