I'm looking for the factory routing of the brake lines from the master cyl to the three way. A few pictures would be great

This is from the parts manual. It isn't exactly what you want but I think you can extrapolate the route pretty well from it.The pipes shown in the UL corner come from the master cylinder and go into the shuttle valve pictured right center. Front pipe goes to three-way T, and then to each side. Rear pipe goes to flexible hose that mounts on frame. The flexible hose goes to axle-mounted T fitting and then to each side.
If you are running a new system, you can probably safely delete the shuttle valve. I put in a Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve instead. I ran the front pipe directly to the T fitting.

what I'm looking for is a picure of the routing of the pipes along the bulkhead from the dual master to the three way for the front and coupling for the back. my brake switch is on the top of the brake tower.

I would also be interested in this as I am converting my single circuit IIA to a dual circuit with power brakes.

I will try to take a picture, but basically it goes from the MC back to the bulkhead, across, and down to the distribution block. The one for the rear then runs along the frame rail to the back. Pretty generic, I know, but if you have the old pipes in place or if they are missing, they just snap back into the plastic holders.

Hope this helps, I don't have a Landrover style heater but I think it is self explanatory for the routing.771677177718

I'll do my best to photo my dual (used to be single) line system tomorrow :thumb-up:

Just read your request. My '71 2a has the dual brake ms, and is LHD. I'll take a few pics of the brake line route this Sat. morning, but will not be able to post them until Tuesday morning. Hopefully that will help you in time. That will also give me time to highlight the brake lines (in Photoshop) so the route is easier to see amongst the typical clutter of wires and rusty surfaces!

Just took pics of my stock brake line routing. Will post them tomorrow (1-20-13) before noon EST. I'm the second owner, so my brake line formatting should be original...? It looks like it is anyway!

Here's a few pics of the brake line route on my '71.

Pay no attention to the unplugged wire above my oil pressure sending unit. My sending unit developed a short - causing the guage to read "full on". I'm switching to a mechanical system soon. The sending unit wire was renewed, but I do believe the short is in the actual sending unit.

Oh...I just noticed that there is a third factory "loop-style" clamp just above the 3-way connector, holding the two brake lines. The other two clamps (on the bulkhead) are holding the clutch along with the brake lines. Details, details...

Child david, great pics thanks. I have a hand throttle cross shaft on mine which will require a little mod to the routing. I went and installed the break lines before the shaft and they are trying to occupy the same space.
Look at the picture I attached, what is the bracket on the bulkhead for, one about 1/2 way accross. thought it was for brake lines?7750

EDIT: BTW nice looking truck

Are you referring to the "chair-shaped" or "L-shaped" bracket (in your photo) in the almost-center of your bulkhead? Located near that kind of recessed panel-area-thingy? That might be just one of the variations between a Series 3 and my Series 2a bulkhead? In other words, I have no idea what I'm looking at! Or what I'm talking about!

Hopefully a Series 3 person will reply! (I'm still at the bottom of the learning curve.)

Calling all Series 3 owners...A little help?

My pipes are not original (they are kunifer), but the routing is and fasteners are. My 73 does not have that bracket on the bulkhead. The brake pipes should be routed up under the horizontal bend in the bulkhead just below the arched drip rail. They snap into white plastic retainers which are snapped into the bulkhead. These are differences between the IIa pictured above. Note also, the position of front/rear pipes on the MC. ChiliDavid my have a 109 MC or they my be different on a IIa/III 88.
