2.25 Series III Diesel parts

I am on the hunt for :-

1. Flywheel housing (Landrover # 90515086)

1. Rocker Cover (Landrover # 90518719)

Any one have any spare units around ?

What the difference between sII and sIII on the rocker cover? 99% sure I have one, but not sure what the engine was originally other than a 2.25d. Might have the backing plate still too, will check in the am.

Definitely have the rocker cover. I'll have a look today to see if I have an extra diesel flywheel housing.

Yes, pricey little puppies and decidedly a little thinner on the ground than the 2.25 petrol engined versions.

Out of curiosity, what's the difference between the petrol and diesel flywheel housings? TDC/timing port? I can't imagine there'd be much else...

I didn't get to look today, trying to get stuff done outside before freezing rain. I'll look tomorrow.

Had a quick look tonight, didn't see a spare flywheel housing. I'll look again tomorrow. I could take one off one of my engines, but I'd probably want a premium for it if I did that.
If I can I'll try to compare one to a 2.25 petrol housing to see what the difference is.

Definitely have the cover. Didn't see the backing plate, but I didn't open every bin I've got. PM me if you want the cover.

On the petrol the starter is held on by 2 studs/nuts, the diesel has 3 stud/nuts. Other than that about the same.

I've found a flywheel housing, phew ! Though still need the valve cover.
