Imported into the USA from the UK in the beginning of 2010. Clean Pennsylvania title. In 2009 the vehicle was rebuilt by Foleys in the UK using a new galvanized chassis that has been wax-oyled and nearly all parts from a 2003 Rest of World (ROW) spec, Left-Hand Drive (LHD) Land Rover Defender Station Wagon with a factory-fitted 300tdi, R380 5-speed transmission, and air conditioning.

Improvements made to the vehicle prior to import were as follows:

Re-upholstered all of the seats by Exmoor trim ("denim twill vinyl")
Sound deadening material installed under the hood and on the front floor
New Safari Snorkel raised air intake
New Heavy duty rear tire carrier swing-away
New Checkerplate on wings, sills and rear quarter panels
(installed for aesthetics, not to hide any corrosion!)
New front bull bar
New winch bumper (no winch currently installed)
New tray with two additional 12-volt auxiliary outlets
Extended seat rails installed on driver’s seat, providing 6 in of additional travel
Cambelt change to engine (due to convenience during rebuild)
I oversaw this work since I was living in the UK at the time.

Other additions made since its arrival in the USA were as follows:

New North American Spec (NAS) rear bumper installed
New black side steps with rubberized step area
New Wolf heavy duty wheels (including spare), replacing the standard white steel wheels in some of the pictures
Hankook tires x 5 (4 of which now have approx 3,000 miles on them)
Mildly tinted windows all around

Since importation, the vehicle has been used sparingly and in covered storage when not in use. The current odometer reading (about 9,500 miles) is inaccurate due to its replacement from the original kilometers odo. Taking into account the donor vehicle’s mileage (approx 25,000 mi), this vehicle (except for the galvanized chassis) has approximately 35,000 miles on it.

This is a reluctant sale; we are selling it for a down-payment on property. It’s a fantastic, great-running vehicle and one that we were hoping to keep for a long time, but unfortunately our circumstances have changed. $48,000.

Link to some pictures is below. I could get more pictures upon request.

Where did they put the Waxoyl? It's not on the chassis?

On D-90 source we were guessing they Waxoyl'd the interior of the chassis.

Well you do have the floor boards for the hardwax and inside of the doors and any other boxed section that could have had cavity wax sprayed in them
