I'm in the process of rebuilding my swivel housing on a 93 RRC LWB. I've read in the manual that using a spring weight, the tension of the pull should be 2.5-3.2 lbs without the oil seal and axle removed. For whatever reason I recall the mention of the pull tension being at 12 lbs fully assembled. This was years ago that I came across (or thought I did) so I may be way off. BTW, any other real world experiences putting it all back together? First time doing this and would like to be able to drive again soon.
I had terrible wheel vibration and rebuilt everything in the swivel. There was significant wear on the top pin and the washers and bearing was shreds. The bolts holding the top pin in came out without tools and had just one thin shim. In practice, how many shims are used to typically set the load?

Thanks,

Mark
