power steering aftermarket options?

I'm looking to install an aftermarket power steering system to my vehicle so my wife can drive it more easily. The only one I can find is called "EasyDrive" which is currently offered by us auto performance in Florida. Does anyone have experience with this unit? Are there any other options out there? Thanks for any info on this subject.

I went with a DIY/homemade version using an FJ60 box and a canned ham pump...but its a decent amount of work and some fabrication. If you want an off the shelf there is also the Hystee system:

If you have an aversion to Japanese parts on your rover. The scout II or RR p38 boxes are an easier swap. The scout box sector shaft is he same spline as a Adwest/rover box. No messing with odd tie rods. As stated above. It's a fair amount of work, but totally worth it. Check out this link. If it were me and I wanted the least intrusive easiest to install and arguably most powerful system I would opt for the hystee hydraulic one. The electric assist needs a whopping 60 amps, which is a huge draw on the battery and the (wimpy) charging system of the Landy.
I would only recommend the Range Rover conversion if it were part of a larger refurbishment plan. It requires engine, frame, body and steering column modification as well as new steering rod. Only for advanced DIY or specialist shop installation.

I don't know Bill...That Heystee kit would be the last thing I'd want to install. To me it looks overly complicated and too vulnerable to damage and the elements. Ease of install is a plus but I'd just keep the system stock before I put that kit on. My 2 cents.

Yah he doesn't say if he plans to wheel it, which would certainly cause me to rethink the hydraulic ram. For a garage queen it would be OK tho...
