I pulled the trigger to get The Donkey another 50+ years under her belt! I figured I would post some pictures as she progresses into the final masterpiece! She resides in CT and is being restored by Forrest CLIFTON. Trying to keep her looking as original as possible, sticking with Marine Blue factory color, Elephant hide seats, etc. Couple upgrades such as alternator, petronix ignition, parabolics, and hopefully overdrive! (old toro and will find out if she works!). Will keep posting when i get new pics but cant wait to get her back on the road.

Looks like you're starting with a pretty good foundation.
Didn't realize you found the missing bit for the Toro. Nice!--Mark

Yea she is a good truck. My wife bought a new galvy chassis for Christmas from RN. I decided if it was going to be all apart to do it right.
Yea. I received a fairy gear that fit, so the only way to find out if the Frankenstein toro works is if it is installed. Ill let you know how it goes!1996 Discovery SE7 5spd -SOLD
