Does anyone know the true size (not what BFG says they are) of the 235/85-16 KM2 tires? I just want to make sure they measure out to be 32+" tall. Thanks!

One site says 32" another 31.73". So, they seem to be about 32", but not taller. Maybe go to a 245, that'd be about 32.5".

I'm running 255/85/16 in the same tire and measure out to 33" x 10.5"......or pretty dang close.

Thanks for the response. Are you running stock rims? How is the turning radius? How flexible is your suspension?

I'm running 245/75-16 AT's right now with two leaf front and rear springs. I like how much travel I have but the rear tires do rub at full flex in the rear. I also like the tighter turning radius and quicker acceleration but I really miss the ground clearance. My new shoes will be mounted on different rims that should push them out about a inch more so that should help with turning radius. Having trouble deciding between the skinny 32's and the little wider 33's!

They are not stock rims, but I honestly don't know what they came off of. The turning radius is fine, but then again it's an 88" truck. I have 2 leaf Rock Mountain Parabolics and the truck rides great. Perhaps if I hit a big hole off road I might rub, but I have not experienced any yet.

Here are some pictures I took:

I'm running 33x10.5x15 BFG Km2 (the 15" equivalent to the 255/85), I went with this size because they were ~$30 cheaper per tire than the 255. They do rub slightly at full articulation in the rear, nothing noticeable up front. I would get this size again, no complaints thus far. You should get your truck done and bring it to muddy chef to test it all out!!

oh, and they work quite well on the trails:

I hate to say it, but after looking at Contractor's truck, it almost makes me want to put a set of jackman spoker rims on my truck. it really gives it a 1980's beach runner look. I'm pretty sure I know where to find some.

Yep, you can't get the 33" x 10.5" size in a 16" wheel, so 255 is your only option. The only disadvantage to the 16" wheel and KM2's (or just about any other manufacturer) is you are stuck with a load range E tire in that size. Surprisingly these ride really well, but I have had E tires that ride like crapola.

I like those spoker rims, they would look pretty nice........especially in limestone.
