Series II Oil Filter Assembly

I have a question re the oil filter assembly...
on the attached picture (hosts) I see a threaded hole for what must be the oil pressure switch, what is the bolt for at the end of the oil filter assembly "head"?
oil pressure gauge capillary connection?


My IIA had a oil filter assembly without the bolt, just a threaded spot the switch went into.

A little confused. The bolt at the left hand of your photo or the upper right hand corner?

Got it. Not sure and I am 1200 miles away from my truck. I am sure some will pipe up. Seems large for a capillary connection but I don't know. Possibly one side of the optional oil cooler? If I recall it had a connection at the pan but not sure where the other like connected.
