Motor has 3 leads and I jumpered power to each lead one at a time and nothing happened on any of them. Bad motor?

Stupid question, but did you ground the motor?

I just went through this, it should work by jumping power to one of them. Open it up and check the brushes, maybe it just needs a cleaning.
