Tall narrow tires to fit a 15" rim are getting hard to find. I used to run BFG 33X9.50X15 on regular 15" rover rims. I ended up going with Proline Wolf wheels from our host because they gave me more tire choices. You can buy Rover 16" wheels that are 5.5" wide but the rim width will limit which 16" tire you can run. I believe the largest tire is a 235X85X16. I agree that the rims you have do look too modern on a Series. I like my Wolf wheels but some people don't like the way they look on a Series. It comes down personal preference.

I've had Disco I wheels under my Dormobile since 1996 when a dealer made me an offer on take offs that I could not resist. The Discovery I steel wheels are the widest factory rim that will fit a Series truck. At 7 inches they are a half inch wider than the Wolf rim. That extra half inch gives me a wider choice of tyres to choose from. You should be looking for at least a 6 inch wide rim as tall tyres that is spec'ed for a 5-1/2 inch or narrower rim are getting harder to come by.

Personally I like black rims on a dark coloured truck.

16" is also widely available. You have a lot of options in the 16" department as well. The style is the same as the 15" wheels.

Prepare to take whatever rim you get to the sand blaster. Most of them are rough. Also try to find a shop nearby that can check and true the wheels if needed. A bit more money but well worth it in the end.
