Dripping from water pump weep hole?

After nearly 2 years of the Rover in the shop we are getting close to driving it out the door! Unfortunately, after we just resealed the water pump with new gaskets we see it is still dripping slowly out of the weep hole in the bottom. We suspect it is a worn "ceramic seal" on the main arbor - are we on the right track? Hopefully it is not more serious than that $5.00 part?

Thank you everyone for all the help you have been with our questions. Ebben and I have learned so much doing this project together. We'll post some after pictures once it is back out in the sunlight.

Yup, pump's done. Order two. One for now and one for the shelf. You used to be able to get the shaft seal kit. Maybe you still can. You'd press out the shaft, install the seal and press the shaft back in.

    PS Here you go....

Not worth rebuilding a standard waterpump given the cost differences between new pump and rebuild kit. If you have the earlier pump or a military pump then that's a different story.

They aren't difficult to rebuild if you choose to but a press is nice to have.
