Anyone know where to find rear (galvi) tub trim with the soft top hooks (inverted V type)? Like this:

I'd try the "usual suspects" for used parts, as new fabricated trim bits may not have the welded on "V" hook (I believe they converted over to "U" hooks at some point in the '60s).

- Drop Les Parker (les@roversnorth.com) a note at RN (this forum's host & a good, polite, first ask)
- Call Ike Goss at Pangolin
- Post a "Wanted" thread on forums such as...

Guns & Rovers (http://siteground237.com/~gunsandr/forumdisplay.php?6-Parts-is-Parts)
UK...
The Series 2 Club (http://www.series2club.co.uk/forum/forum/index.php/board,45.0.html)

Coinsidently, just the other day, someone on the Series 2 club was giving away a tub that happened to have those side cappings. (HERE) (http://www.series2club.co.uk/forum/forum/index.php/topic,72426.0.html)

One is bound to turn up somewhere...

Good Luck!

Thanks, search all the usual suspects websites and Dunsfold and Craddock....nada... Looks like I gotta search LR grave yards in CR next time I go down.

Of course there's always Ebay-UK... several tubs are listed for sale & some sellers might be interested in parting out.

Also, while a long shot you might try...

Brian at Low Country Overland: lowcountryoverland@gmail.com
- or -
Sean Jones at Blue Ridge Rover Works: jones.sean5@att.net

Both are great guys and both have (or have had) parts vehicles.

Again, good luck!

Don Flye, host of the Metal Dash meet, has more trim parts in his barn than anyone I know.
