Okay, my '60 Series 2 has what appears to be a vacuum type turn signal switch, but I can't find out anything about it. I don't see it on our hosts website either.
It also has a green (I think) light that goes above it on the panel. Was this original and how does it work? Does anyone have any schematics or pictures I could check out? Thanks as always!

Definitely not original. You should have a Tex Magna turn signal on the colum for originality.

Searching the web it seems that I have a pneumatic type turn signal switch. Prob from an MGA or Jag. Hmmmm...

You have the proper switch for a Series 2.........there's a plunger inside the switch body that needs to be oil soaked to create a vacuum which is adjusted by way of a small screw on the back of the unit. They are very hard to find so hold onto it or sell it to me! Check with our hosts about some sort of schematic on the switch, they must have something kicking around.

bensdad: Please post a photo of this switch! I also thought the Tex Magnalite was stock for Series IIs, so it's good to know the truth.

Love learning new things! This thread prompted me to take a second look at the parts catalogs & sure enough, I'm guessing this is your switch (# 3).

Yes, number 3 is the switch and 13,14 and 15 are the dash light cnd crystal. I can't figure out how the dash light attaches to the dash plate, but am working on it. I don't have the steering column mounted turn signal. Will take a picture of it if I can get it all put together.

Hopefully you'll be able to mend it (I love seeing old bits refurbished).
Good luck!
