Tire Size

I saw a thread recently that said that you should never put a passenger tire on a Series. Only a light truck tire. Is that the case. I probably won't be doing too much off road.

P rated tires are fine. In fact, it will give you a slightly nicer ride on pavement. Many modern light pickup trucks use P rated tires. Now, whether or not you can find a P rated tire in the size you want may be a different issue. Just go to the website of the manufacturer of your tire of choice to find out.
