Hello! Does anyone know of a good mechanical brake light switch (or kit) to fit a '67 Series IIa 88" 2.25L?
Thanks!

The quality hydraulic ones work well. Other wise SI style which is the same as SII choke, Unless you go to power brakes and use the stock late SIIA and SIII unit. Easier to just screw the hydraulic on into the frame junction and be done

I only seem to get a year out of the Napa Echlin hydrolic brake switches. I've gone through 3 so far. Not hard to change, and I now carry a spare. What brand do you recommend for quality Ike?

I mounted a mechanical switch on my 65 IIa. Mounted it to the front of the peddle box so it was activated by the master cylinder rod when peddle was pushed. Fabricated a bracket from sheet metal and mounted it with two screws in the front of the box cover. Sourced the switch from NAPA. as worked great for the last two years.

I use the genuine switches. They last for decades
