In repairing and refitting the rear springs on my Series III 88 after an accident, it has become apparent that the springs now have different curvatures. this causes the axle to not be perpendicular to the frame, due to the fixed front mount, different curvature moving the center pin on the more curved spring forward by an inch or so. This condition was first noticed when everything was removed from the frame and only the axles remained (thus no load at all on the frame.)
Has anyone experienced this problem? what was the remedy other than buying a new complete pair of springs.
