I was wondering if any one had a maintenance log template to track expenses and repairs? Thanks

That's a document that some of us would NEVER keep; God forbid our wives/significant-others happen upon our Rover expense/repair log!

What is needed is a program/spreadsheet that takes all of the expenses and then halves it for the total . . . maybe a third . . .

Sometimes I just get the regular bound ones.

I prefer to reply on my memory for that sort of thing. Due its various faults, it grants a degree of accomplishment and satisfaction that I may not otherwise enjoy. Supposing I should create a paper trail though, mine would be safe in the vehicle since it causes such great discomfort to her eyes.

I do the same thing Yorker does. Write the vehicle info on the cover. Inside of front cover gets capacities, maintenance intervals & common torque specs. The rest is just a matter of writing date, miles, and what was done. Keep it in the cubby or under the seat. I don't clutter up the maintenance books with expenses. I just keep a file with all my receipts.

Sorry. Not enough time to stop for writing. If I stop another part will break. Must wrench.
