Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has experience with engine mount rubber for a 200TDI conversion. Currently running standard issue Defender mounts, but have terrible vibration. Glencoyne talks about softer mounts, but he does not sell to the USA. Anyone have a part # or a solution? Thanks...

Robert Davis is working on adapting Mercedes Benz hydraulic mounts for 200 tdi. Prolly some time this spring they will be ready. Be patient.

Thanks for the reply. I read about that. Wasn't sure there would be enough room. Hoping there would be a way to change the tranny mounts too.

Discovery mounts are good.

Found ANR1808G might be softer than standard. Anyone tried these with the 200 TDI? Still getting blood in the urine.

I've read these (http://ekmpowershop15.com/ekmps/shops/glencoyne/engine-mounts-200tdi-series--defender-oem-22-p.asp) are good.

I ordered one of the ANR1808G. What came feels pretty hard compared to another one I have. Is that picture you posted the same part number?

What part # are those mounts?

The # is ANR1808. This is the Genuine Landrover part, I would also recommend using them.

Like Les said, those are jen-yoo-ine Land Rover parts. They're much more expensive than the repos but I guess they're worth it. I'm nowhere near this step in my project so I can't say one way or the other.

Thanks Les, I'll order one up and see if these are any softer. I really do need to make a change before the bulkhead, windshield, and my marriage self destruct!

Let us know the difference. New mounts are on my list too.

I'll post once I've tried them. I drive this truck daily and can give a good opinion.
